Well, your translation is not correct!!! In English a team is the word used to describe a sport team. It is also the word used to describe a group of persons which are linked by a common activity in order to reach for the same gaol. Can you see what I mean???
Your translation is not correct for "La bande à Basile", the better translation is Basile's band.
To band is the verb used to express the idea of gathering...A music band is made of gathered people who play music together.
